THE INITIAL SITUATION
Living, renovation, interior design & lifestyle - these are the topics that Marietta Kiesling covers professionally. Live and on her Instagram account "vonmuto.living". She plans, accompanies and documents projects in residential and commercial real estate. From the idea to the realization and with pleasure especially. The "Salon Mignon" project in Vienna's 18th district is another highlight: a 70 m² apartment in an old building. The task: general refurbishment. Here too, Marietta relied on renowned quality partnerships. "I have already installed electric underfloor heating systems from ETHERMA in several bathrooms. In the Salon Mignon, however, it concerns the entire apartment, i.e: ETHERMA is the only heating source.
THE ETHERMA SOLUTION
The decision was clear from the start: no gas! Instead, modern, efficient underfloor heating and a very well installed 120 liter boiler in the bathroom. Marietta Kiesling says: "Based on my experience in a wide variety of living situations, I often prefer electric heating because it warms up very quickly and, even in transitional periods, only certain rooms can be heated without having to start up an entire heating system. The experienced ETHERMA technical team was on hand to offer advice and recommended the eFLOOR PRO thin-bed mesh heating mat, an underfloor heating system that can be used both under parquet flooring (trowelled into the flexible adhesive with a thickness of just 3.0 mm) and under tiles in wet areas. The low installation height makes it the ideal solution for renovation projects. Around 50 m² of heating mats with a total output of 8.7 kW now provide pleasant warmth. A bus system provides a small smart home and enables targeted individual room control of the heating - efficient and cost-conscious and also sustainable thanks to green electricity.
